Christophe & Geraldine were apparently so happy in Granada and so reluctant to leave that they actually did the unthinkable in order to stay longer. Mind you, she lost her bag on their way to the airport with their flight tickets in, so they had to come back from the airport when I had already cleaned the rooms. And even though I was able to find the lost bag next day they somehow managed to organize an air controller strike in France (well this is not such a difficult thing to do after all) if only to stay even one more night with us. Alan and Linda and I who were actually having a very peaceful time together before all this happened, could not help but endlessly laughing at the situation. | We hope you are able to celebrate now that the English have
returned home!!! - and I hope your headache has gone. Thank you so much for
your hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay with you. It made such a
difference being able to ask you for advice on places to go to visit, nice
restaurants and bars, the flamenco evening and our reserved tickets for the
Alhambra made for a special birthday to remember. Thank you also for
the beautiful photograph which is in mint condition after our travelling and
for providing a birthday cake for breakfast. If you ever fly to
Bristol, you must come and stay with us (no charge if you speak a little
Spanish) and we will show you some of the lovely places to go around Taunton.
Happy Birthday. Love.
Linda & Alan. Hello Victor… Relax! we are both back in the UK after an arduous journey home. Geraldine reminded me it's your birthday so please feel free to finish off her tiramisu ! With best wishes. Geraldine & Chris Linda, Alan, Christophe & Geraldine, England |
